Our minds and our bodies are affected when we are grieving. Grieving a loss is a full body experience and it is more than just an emotional experience. Our bodies hold the impact of trauma. Self care is an act of self compassion for a heart, mind and body that are in need of love.

8 Practical ways to physically tend to your body in ways that will benefit you emotionally ✨

▫️ Chiropractic Care

▫️ Massage Therapy

▫️ Laughter

▫️ Crying

▫️ Dance/Movement

▫️ Breathing Techniques

▫️Meditation/Prayer

▫️ Gratitude

Grief can be so consuming and intense that it seeps into our bodies.. and we feel it physically. Tending to your body in the suggested ways above, as they are so therapeutic and provide relief to your body and your mind. It's also a form of stress management so get that tense achy body moving in a positive, healthy way!

We will have a one sided approach if we only tend to our sadness, anger & regret etc - as we are 3-fold mind/body/spirit beings. Grief affects all of those areas.

It’s possible to navigate through your grief in a healthy way. There is hope.

Be kind to your grieving heart and let it heal 🫶🏽
